Fish specialist Alex Ruizendaal counts on Bredenoord

Once a year the service mechanics pay us a visit for maintenance activities. This is important for me, you just don’t want to end up with a truckload of fresh fish without any power.

On a daily basis about 500 people visit the mobile fish stall of Alex Ruizendaal Fish Specialties. The company owns three mobile fish stalls, one of which is equipped with a 25kVA generator.

Request from the customer
Once every week Ruizendaal sets up his mobile stall at a location without a municipal power cabinet. "Borrowing 'power from a company in the vicinity only results in all sorts of trouble with cables," according to Ruizendaal. So a generator was needed. At Bredenoord Ruizendaal found a reliable used generator. "And even in a blue color, which is the color of my mobile stall, it couldn’t be more perfect!"

Nothing to worry about
“When we arrive we uncouple the stall, place the truck cabin behind it, switch on the generator, close the door and we are fully operational for the entire day without any problems at all. With four cooling engines, a cooker hood and other equipment. And without any annoying sound for the customers, it is a pretty silent generator.” Once a year the service mechanics pay us a visit for maintenance activities. “This is important for me, you just don’t want to end up with a truckload of fresh fish without any power. They replace the filters, perform a test and for the rest of the year I have nothing to worry about.” By now having no generator is no longer an option for Ruizendaal. “Even when they put me right in the middle of the Al motorway or somewhere is a field, Alex Ruizendaal just keeps on selling fish. Isn’t that fantastic?!”
