Advantages
The main benefits of battery systems are reduction (CO₂, nitrogen oxides, particulates, noise) and temporary peak load absorption (peakshaving). The exact merits depend on the application of the system and the energy source with which it is charged. Charging a battery container can be done with different energy sources, such as a grid connection, a generator, solar panels and wind turbines.
The shop at this petrol station was partly renovated by us and at peak times it demands more power than the current grid connection can handle. Until the grid connection is enlarged, Bredenoord's Battery Box is a nice, emission-free solution!
