Charge 50 and the Battery Box: an energetic duo

Our customer’s event – with a lot of electric vehicles – took place at a location with insufficient grid access. To ensure these vehicles could be recharged quickly we set up two Battery Box 300Ls in addition to our Charge 50 to provide the required power.

Fast charging wherever and whenever you want

The Charge 50 charging point is equipped with a CCS and a Type II connection, and can charge up to two electric vehicles simultaneously. All electric vehicles, including vehicles equipped with a high voltage battery system up to 500 VDC, can thus be charged quickly and easily. In addition, the charging point is easy to set up due to its convenient frame.

Battery Box

The grid connection was insufficient at the location of this event. However, since it was a customer event showcasing new types of electric vehicles, a combination with a genset running on HVO was inadvisable. This is why Niels chose a combination with the Battery Box. “The Battery Box 300L can be used standalone and provides 380 kWh of energy for nominal use. This allowed us to charge a considerable amount of electric vehicles. Since this was a multi-day event the Battery Box was recharged overnight through the small grid connection.”
