Stage V
Low emissions with a Stage V genset
Are you looking for a mobile power solution? And do you want to meet the highest sustainability requirements on construction sites? Then consider a Stage V Power genset. Stage V Power gensets feature an engine with an exhaust gas aftertreatment system. This significantly reduces emissions of harmful substances such as particulate matter (PM) and nitrogen (NOx). In combination with HVO fuel, CO2 emissions can also be greatly reduced.
Why a Stage V genset?
- Fewer emissions of particulates and nitrogen oxides
- Complies with Stage V emission standards set by the EU
- Perfect combination with a Battery Box
- Hardly any diesel fumes or odor
- A good choice for locations with strict emission requirements

Meeting EU emission requirements
In more and more places, compliance with strict environmental requirements for the use of mobile power is being demanded. Sometimes Stage V compliance is then required. We increasingly see this at events, projects in Natura 2000 areas, or on construction sites in cities, for example. Customers who are, or will be, affected by this therefore choose Stage V gensets.
Emission reduction
The main advantage of Stage V gensets is the substantial reduction in emissions of harmful substances such as nitrogen oxides (NOx) and particulates (PM). Because Stage V gensets feature an advanced exhaust after-treatment system, they are much cleaner than their predecessors. Moreover, they are suitable for a variety of applications, from construction sites to festivals.
Stage V standardisation
The Stage V standardisation is a European environmental standard, introduced to further reduce harmful emissions, such as particulate matter (PM) and nitrogen oxides (NOx). This is with the aim of improving air quality in Europe. Stage V imposes limits on mobile machinery and equipment with internal combustion engines, such as generators and excavators. Stage V generators from Bredenoord contain a Stage V engine and thus comply with the standard.
Other measures to reduce emissions
Do you want to reduce emissions? Besides Stage V generators, there are also other solutions. Think about the use of batteries, the use of more sustainable fuels (e.g. HVO or Biogas), the use of a denox installation, or optimal load of a generator through monitoring.
