Bredenoord sponsor of Hamburg marathon
On 14 April emergency power supplier Bredenoord will officially open its office in Hamburg, Germany. It will be the third office of the Apeldoorn-based company in Germany. As a welcome present to the city Bredenoord will provide the Haspa Marathon Hamburg with hybrid Bredenoord energy on Sunday 17 April.
The Hamburg marathon is one of Germany’s largest marathons and will be run at the moment that Bredenoord opens its doors in Hamburg. A perfect opportunity to provide all marathon runners with Bredenoord’s clean energy. At several locations alongside the track you will find ESavers (mobile hybrid energy systems) that save up to 70% of the fuel.
Knowledge of the area
“Via our customer base in Germany we have had the opportunity to take care of an increasing number of projects in the Hamburg area. By actually settling in this beautiful port we can now provide our existing and future customers with an even faster mobile energy solution. Also experience has taught us that with our specialistic knowledge of mobile energy we can handle complex projects. For example the provision of Denox installations in the port of Paalbergen, according to Manager Rental Division Jeroen Dekker. “Since two years our Area manager Jan Wedel is active in and around Hamburg, he knows the ins and outs of the area and as a result he is the perfect advisor for our current and future customers.”

Bredenoord has a rental fleet of more than 2000 generators, from 15 kVA to 2000 kVA. There are solutions for temporary energy in emergency situations and solutions for planned maintenance. In addition the company offers permanent emergency power installations and sustainable energy solutions. The new office in Hamburg is the sixth in total. In addition to the head office in Apeldoorn, Bredenoord can also be found in the Dutch port of Rotterdam, in Schopsdorf and Wörnitz in Germany and in Vejle in Denmark. From these six offices business is conducted all over the world.
