Data & IoT
Insight in fuel and energy use is a requirement to be able to save. Additionally, insight in your energy user profile is required for the optimal use of our hybrid configurations. Using energy and resources sustainably requires real time information. Bredenoord therefore aims to make its entire fleet connected.
In order to do so we first need access to certain data, which is why we already started building nodes into our gensets several years ago. We soon expect to have a large part of our fleet equipped with these nodes. The nodes will collect data about the running hours, location, alarm/status and fuel level. By collecting and combining this data we will, for example, be able to improve our rental processes.
In the ultimate scenario we will be able to make predictions in the future, based on sufficient data. If you can predict malfunctioning, then you can also prevent it. This is nice for us, but of course it is ideal for the client!
At the moment we are already analyzing the data from the first nodes. Once we’ve connected a large part of the fleet we can truly get to work!
This is what innovating with Bredenoord is like
Data is the key in the energy transition! Data makes the energy demand and generation transparent. This is essential for offering a balanced energy system. Data also helps us further improve our products, services and asset management. Our customers will notice this immediately.
