2018 Track Cycling World Championships powered by Bredenoord
The UCI 2018 TRACK CYCLING WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS will start next week in Apeldoorn, taking place at the Omnisport from Wednesday 28 February to Sunday 4 March. Bredenoord is proud to be able to provide this fabulous event in its home town with Bredenoord power as both the electricity supplier and a sponsor.
Reliable power for the viewers at home
Over 80 years ago Jan Bredenoord founded the Bredenoord company less than 4 kilometres from the Omnisport Centre. That set the standard for the reliable power that we still deliver today throughout Europe and beyond. Next week the Bredenoord generators will supply electricity to the media park of national and European broadcasters so that all the television transmissions reach the viewers at home.
The UCI international cycling union has announced which athletes will be participating in the Track Cycling World Championships between 28 February and 4 March. The list of participants includes the names of many riders who were successful at the Rio Olympics and/or the last World Championships on the track in Hong Kong. It promises to be an excellent week! We wish all the athletes lots of power!
