We take a critical look at our products and ask ourselves: how can we make them more sustainable? For example, we adapt our existing products so that they operate more economically, run more efficiently or produce fewer emissions. And we are working on new, innovative solutions for the future. ## The importance of sustainable power solutions The world faces a major challenge: reducing greenhouse gas emissions and mitigating climate change. Consequently, increasingly stringent emission regulations are in force across various markets, such as construction, infrastructure and events. This calls for new power solutions that are not only reliable but also environmentally friendly. How can you ensure your project can still go ahead? ## Emission standards Traditional diesel generators emit substances that can cause environmental damage and pose health risks. However, cleaner alternatives are now available. By utilising smart engine technologies and/or alternative fuels, the latest machines and fuels significantly reduce emissions of CO₂, PM and NOₓ, amongst others. This allows us to meet the emission requirements of today and tomorrow. ## Sustainable mobile power solutions - You want to work cleanly and quietly - You want to keep emissions to a minimu - You want to operate responsibly - You need to comply with emission regulations due to legislation #### Carbon Dioxide (CO₂): CO₂ is a colourless, odourless gas released during the combustion of fossil and biofuels. Emissions depend on the fuel used and the efficiency of the generator. Cleaner fuels such as HVO or biogas, combined with efficiently operating generators, significantly reduce CO₂ emissions. #### Nitrogen oxides (NOₓ): NOₓ is produced in generators at high combustion temperatures through a reaction between nitrogen and oxygen. The higher the temperature, the greater the NOₓ emissions. Cleaner fuels, efficient combustion technology (EGR) and after-treatment (SCR) significantly reduce NOₓ emissions. #### Particulate matter (PM): PM consists of small, harmful particles released during incomplete combustion in generators. Cleaner fuels, emission control technologies (such as DPF and SCR) and hybrid solutions with a Battery Box significantly reduce particulate matter emissions. #### Ammonia (NH₃): Ammonia does not form directly during combustion but through emission reduction (SCR) in generators. This involves injecting a urea solution (AdBlue), which is converted into ammonia (NH₃) at high temperatures. ## Want to reduce emissions?
