Is maintenance on your power supply (such as the grid) coming up, but your operations can't be interrupted for a moment? A synchronous grid take-over is the solution. During an synchronous grid take-over, a generator with a specific control system is used, ensuring a smooth transition to the generator. ## Not a moment in the dark While the main power supply is still available, the voltage and frequency the generator needs to achieve are determined, and the generator's control is adjusted accordingly. Once the main power supply and the generator are fully synchronized, the main supply is gradually shut down, with the generator providing an increasing share of the required power. Your location doesn't have to go dark for even a moment. When your regular power supply is ready again, the power demand is gradually returned. This synchronous network transfer is so seamless that your end user won't notice a thing. ### Features of synchronous grid take-over - Your power supply is never interrupted - 100 kVA - 2,000 kVA, larger capacities available on request - Can be combined with an additional backup generator - Time and cost-saving, your operations can continue - Combination with the Battery Box possible A synchronous network transfer allows you to perform maintenance on your main power supply without interrupting your regular operations. ### A synchronous grid take-over material box contains - 1 connection box (single) - 1 case with 4 x 400 A current clamps - 1 case with small materials (e.g., power supplies, crocodile clips, voltage measuring clamps) - 30 m cable ![Synchronous grid take over](https://d214mxx6i7ojph.cloudfront.net/eyJidWNrZXQiOiJicmVkZW5vb3JkLXByb2QtYnVja2V0Iiwia2V5IjoiaW1hZ2VzL3Byb2R1Y3QvU3luY2hyb25vdXMtZ3JpZC10YWtlLW92ZXIuanBnIiwiZWRpdHMiOnsianBlZyI6eyJxdWFsaXR5IjoxMDAsInByb2dyZXNzaXZlIjpmYWxzZSwidHJlbGxpc1F1YW50aXNhdGlvbiI6dHJ1ZSwib3ZlcnNob290RGVyaW5naW5nIjp0cnVlLCJvcHRpbWl6ZVNjYW5zIjp0cnVlfSwicmVzaXplIjp7IndpZHRoIjo5NiwiaGVpZ2h0Ijo2NCwiZml0IjoiaW5zaWRlIn19fQ==)Synchronous grid take-over [ Request a quote ](https://www.bredenoord.com/en/rental/distribution/synchronous-mains-take-over/quote/) Get in touch Need temporary power fast?
