Variants are available with nominal currents from 100 to 2,000 A, adjustable voltage limits, and a time delay of 0 to 30 seconds. If this voltage drops, the control commands the emergency generator to start. Once the generator voltage is available, the system automatically switches to generator operation. After a stable mains voltage returns, the power supply switches back to the public grid and the generator goes back to standby. The time delay for the grid and generator voltage is adjustable from 0 to 30 seconds. Also, the monitoring of over and under voltage and the phase sequence can be set within a range of 2 to 22%. ## Start on external signal A start-stop control can start and stop a generator via an external signal. Variants with a time clock or float switch are available for this purpose. A time clock allows starting at preset times. A float switch can activate the generator when a connected installation requests it, for example, based on a certain fluid level. For automatic grid monitoring and switching, models with nominal currents from 100 to 2,000 A are available, for generators from 15 to 1,250 kVA. The start-stop controls are available for generators up to 400 kVA.
