Bredenoord particulate filter system (Clear Air) recognised in Switzerland

BRE0052-Clear-Air-LOGO-RGB-ZRWednesday 09 November 2011 After testing in the Federal Materials Testing Office (Eidgenössisches Materialprüfungsamt; EMP), the Federal Agency for Environmental Protection (BAFU) in Switzerland,

which imposes extremely strict requirements regarding health protection measures on construction sites, has recognised the Bredenoord particulate filter system as compliant with requirements.

Since 1 January 2009, uniform limits on diesel particulate emissions apply for construction machines and devices on all construction sites in Switzerland. In addition to satisfying EU regulations, construction machines and devices that fall within the scope of the Swiss Ordinance on Pollution Control (Luftreinhaltverordnung; LVR) must also comply with a strict particulate count limit value. According to the current state of the art, this value can only be satisfied by the use of an effective (closed) particulate filter system.

Bredenoord has a system available for 50, 100, 200, 300 and 400 kVA enclosed gensets and thus offers its customers the wide range that is required on construction sites.
